LaingBuisson worked in association with Cobic and Cicada on a report considering the potential for developing the capacity and diversity of provision of children's social care services in England. The context for this report was the growth in demand for public services at a time when pressures on public funding were expected to continue for the foreseeable future and when there was concern that insufficient progress had been made in terms of improving outcomes for vulnerable children.
